Just two cogs in the chicken game.
Frank Perdue and Col. Harland Sanders.

I wasn't aware former NYC Mayor Ed Koch was in the chicken game.

I've seen colonel sanders in person and I'm telling you that this imposter is not sanders. The real colonel sanders was a hunchback. This guy should be arrested and tried for fraud. I'm pretty sure that's not mr. peanut either.

Really #7? The real Colonel Sanders is dead? So you mean that's not the real Colonel Sanders in the picture? And he's not 110 years old? Really?

Yessss! Dance Festivals! I attended grammar school P.S. 124Q and the dance festival was one of the absolute best times of the year!

It meant the weather was warming up and the school year was nearly over (not to mention it also meant spending extra time in the schoolyard to practice instead of hitting the books ;) )

I have fond memories of dressing up in a sombrero, a poodle skirt and an eagle costume (made of t-shirts and poster paint, natch), shaking my booty and then sitting on the concrete with my class to root on the other grades.

I couldn't dance worth a damn, of course, but it was still a ton of fun.

Thanks for posting the link Jen! It brings back lovely memories. :)

and you can see here in this photo that the real mr. peanut was right handed and carried his walking stick on the right unlike this imposter shown above.

I question whether that is even the real ed koch.
