The Things Our Mayor Must Do

President Bush was on Long Island earlier for the merchant marines graduation. And like a good Mayor (and Republican?), Mayor Bloomberg went to JFK Airport to greet the Commander in Chief. Now, the NY Times has captioned this AP Photo with:

Bush Greets Bloomberg With a Backslap

The president had a quick meeting with Mayor Bloomberg on the tarmac at J.F.K. International Airport before speaking to graduates of the Merchant Marines Academy in Kings Point, N.Y.
If only Bloomberg was greeting Bush with a bitchslap! Anyway, we'd like to offer up a few alternate captions:
- "Your hands are so soft, what lotion do you use?"
- "Get your hands off me, Cootie Man!"
- "Does this mean you'll have the 2008 Republican National Convention in NYC?"
- "Tell me more about this 'terrorist threat' to NYC."
