Wow-the streetsblog image identifies an unmarked police vehicle as a personal car. The street renaissance video presumes that all the cars parked come from the suburbs..... no suppositions there right-because you know they followed everyone home to Brooklyn to check?!! Get a clue folks-you haven't an idea of how the city works but you feel free to blog about it.

you voted for him, you know these nypd will be glad to give you a ticket or a beating. Now who's going to protect you when Al Queda hits? the cop who lives out in Suffolk or Rockland, sure he can. If he can get through traffic on the Tappan Zee or LIE. Don't fool yourselves, you have to protect yourself. No one else will.

What about abuse of privileges given for movie/TV shoots? Every time I walk by Abingdon Square I see the same Law & Order mini-SUV with a permit from the Mayor's office. Clearly the owner lives around there. I don't know if it's breaking the parking violations, but still, take it out of your window.

My personal favorate is the illegally parked car with out of state plates and a NYPD parking plackard.

I'm wondering if all this publicity is what caused the cop who parked his personal vehicle in the bus stop in front of my place for the last 3 months to stop doing it.
