Why are the comments for any conceivable topic on Gothamist riddled with the anonymous spewings of ignorant, intolerant, prejudiced people? If there is a posting about or referring in some way to an Asian or a black person, you can bet there will be some rant, which is usually completely irrelevant to the actual topic. Really disheartening...
