it was built to be the GS headquarters, but after significant pressure from the nyc gov't, goldman never moved into the building. they rent out 2/3 of the floors and make more money than they spend in their current leases, and now they're building a new world hq across from ground zero on west st.

did you know that's the tallest building in new jersey? it's the goldman sachs HQ, i believe. and they're trying to move out of the building already!
