2006_06_ohhello.jpgCOMEDY: Our favorite duo, Gil Faizon (Nick Kroll) and George St. Geegland (John Mulaney), will be bringing their "Oh Hello" show to UCB. Drop by, even if it's just for their famous Tuna-tina recipe. In addition, there will be NEW drink recipes...and special guests.

MUSIC: If you got shut out of Band of Horses tonight at Bowery (or if you just don't care for them) then we suggest heading over to Sin-e for Saints + Lovers. Or to Midway (formerly Scenic) for Hello Nurse. Or maybe Country Teasers, Young People and Magik Markers at the Syrup Room. Unless of course you're going to Radio City for Dashboard Confessional. Don't worry, we won't tell.

THEATER: This is the first weekend of this summer's Shakespeare in the Park, with Liev Schreiber starring in Macbeth. Doubtless a great show, but if you want to avoid the lines and crowds, or if you prefer your Shakespeare a little less bloody, consider Boomerang Theater's http://boomerangtheatre.org/ outdoor production of King Lear, which plays at various parks throughout the city. Philip Emeott directs a fine cast in the enduring tragedy -- which coincidentally would make an interesting choice of entertainment to take your old man to on Sunday for Father's Day. - Mallory Jensen

Central Park (69th and CPW) [this weekend; check the official website for the location on other dates] // Through July 30, Sat.-Sun. 2pm // FREE
