Photograph of a "Visit NYC" ad in Dusseldorf, Germany from James in Germany on Flickr; these ads are part of a swap between Dusseldorf and NYC to promote tourism to each other's cities, but NYC won't have this kind of swank flat-screen advertising in our subways, no way

\"An anatomically correct Statue of David in Little Italy freaks out some mothers\"
Art is the perfect way to teach kids about human sexuality; they get an anatomical lesson and get to learn about Michelangelo at the same time... and the David is so modestly endowed that there is hardly anything to be scared of!
I feel sorry for all these silly parents....
Actually, the next series of subway cars, the R-160, will have the \"swank flat-screen advertising\" in its cars. Look for them pretty soon. Yes way.
Although you did spell \"phased\" correctly, I think you meant to say \"Peter Kalikow was not fazed.\"
Why do we consider lcd screens hawking wares to be a swank thing? Seems tacky to me.
