I pass by this little gem every day on my way to work. The croissants are un f-ing believable - as good if not better than any boulangerie in Paris. Walking in there on a chilly day, smelling the baking croissants and pain au chocolats, I could be back in the little patisserie across the way from my school. Ah, memories. I feel like Proust, except in place of a Madeleine, it's a croissant and coffee from Thé Adoré.
while i LOVE the hungarian toast, it\'s never enough lunch for me, its a bit too twee. it just doesn\'t get me through my day, by 5pm as my day is winding down i always find myself at the office vending machine, hungry
The Adore is GREAT. The food is delicious and it's a great place to linger and have tea.
It's a delightful place, but I wouldn't put it in the "eat on the cheap" category as you have. They're not deli prices. Not even close.
I just went over for lunch -- AWESOME recommendation.
