GAME: Hands down one of our favorite games in middle school was Capture the Flag. Way better than dodgeball. On that note, FreeNYC has listed this, with no other info:

Capture the Flag
Date: Thursday, June 6th
Time: 8:00pm - 10:30pm
Location: Meet at Houston and Orchard
Cost: Free
Summary: Rain or shine

We're intrigued.

ART OPENING: First NYC solo show for recent NYU grad, Chad Marshall, at Priska Juschka Fine Art. Morning in America features paintings and drawings by Mr. Marshall that combine a juicy figurative technique with timely cultural references to produce biting social satire. - Jason Laning

6 - 8 pm // Priska Juschka Fine Art [547 W 27th, 2nd Floor] // Free

McMUSIC: By far, one of the best music press releases we've ever received. McDonald’s Presents New York composer Andrew Shapiro. In celebration of playing McDonald's for two years on Sunday afternoons, Shapiro will hold a special evening show at McD's. With solo piano, songs with his group Airbox Music and a choral arrangement - we hope the McDonald's is big enough to hold the performers as well as those wanting their fast food fix.

8pm // McDonald's [160 Broadway] // Free

COMEDY: Sketchfest begins tonight. With twenty-three different sketch groups from around the country coming together in Soho for three nights of comedy. For a complete list of groups and performance times, please visit their website. The Whitest Kids U Know will help represent the New York sketch comic set, we love those kids.

7pm to 12am // SoHo Playhouse [15 Vandam St] // $10 per performance, $40 for a day pass and $100 for a festival pass
