Summer in the City = Free Shows!

June 16
Charlier Hunter & Bobby Previte with special guests Elliott Sharp as Groundtruther, Matthew Shipp, Nils Petter Molvaer, and Sex Mob: Central Park Summerstage, 7pm.

June 25
Feist, Buck 65, and Jason Collett: Central Park Summerstage, 3pm.

* July 4
Belle and Sebastian: Battery Park, 3:30pm.

* July 7
Mates of State: Castle Clinton National Monument in Battery Park, 7pm.

* July 13
Okkervil River: Castle Clinton National Monument in Battery Park, 7pm.

July 15
Siren Festival at Coney Island. Noon to 9pm.

August 25
Ted Leo + Pharmacists: South Street Seaport, Pier 17, 7pm.

* = ticket required.

Ahh, all of these free concerts make the sticky city summer a bit more worth it.

Your date is wrong on Mates of State (it\'s also wrong on the site you link to, the correct date can be found on the River to River official site)-- it\'s July 6, not July 7.
