Turn on Your A/C: The 2007 Firefighters' Calendar

2006_06_calendar2.jpg

2006_06_calendar3.jpgGothamist now officially cannot wait for 2007: The Fire Department has released its new New York City Firefighters Calendar! Yes, it's another new edition of firefighters posing shirtless in neighborhoods and in front of landmarks, with proceeds going to the The Children's Storefront, a tuition-free school in Harlem, and the Thomas R. Elsasser Fund, which raises money for firefighters' families. You can buy the calendar online from the NYFirestore ($14.99), but we recommend heading to the Firestore's new 17 Greenwich Avenue location on Thursday, where the FDNY hunks will be signing calendars at 5-8PM.

The Daily News had the details on who's who: In Dumbo, it's Mr. April, Dellon Morgan. Mr. March, aka Tom Caruso, is on the cover. And Mike Izzu, Mr. July, poses in Washington Square Park.

Even better from the website: "Join us in our Greenwich Avenue Shop on Thursday, June 8th from 5PM-8PM, and get your calendar signed by the Firefighter hunks who modeled for the New York City Firefighters 2007 Calendar."

How come that guy is never hanging around the Arch when I'm there?!? Grr . . .

the black firefighter in the first pic looks like he's packing something big.

I think I smell smoke in my apartment.

What are the phone numbers of the fire stations where these guys work?
