Yeesh, more crappy buildings. At least it will only be replacing a parking lot. I can't wait until the market tanks, and hopefully takes some of these developers with it.

It's going to be built on spring, between varick and 6th avenue. Not exactly Soho proper, but I don't know what they are calling it these days. I'm guessing it's replacing the parking lot on the south east corner, across from Starbucks and the Mini storage. And speaking of that Starbucks, I think thats the only location in the city that actually needs one across the street from it. It's the only decent coffee shop for a mile or so (short of carts and bodgeas, but no cafe places) and it's always a 10-20 minute wait for a cup of coffee in the morning.

Have there been any decent articles on what these Apprentices actually end up doing once hired? The show makes it sound like this guy is going to be "running" that SoHo project for Donald, but I have a feeling even Donald isn't stupid enough to give these clowns any real authority.
