Oh, I can promise you that nothing was doctored. I just scanned it in as is. In the end, I was picked for a trial. My fellow jurors were suitably horrified when I showed it to them today. Some of them insisted that I should have tried to get out of jury duty by arguing that the courts had committed a personal offense against me, but it just didn't seem worth the confrontation.

It is most likely a data entry error, as the J key is above right to the N key on a standard QWERTY keyboard. However, in theory almost all the jury summonses for New York County would be going to New York, NY so one would expect the default setting in the database to be "New York, NY" and nothing else. It is not like they are sending these to Hoboken.
