Spence Girls For Pants

It's a protest as only a posh, private girls' school can do: Some Spence seniors will wear white pantsuits instead of white dresses, according to New York Magazine. They are so wanting to be modern day Jezebels! A recent Spence grad told The Intelligencer, “It’s not a finishing school anymore, it’s a college-prep school that has strong academics, so do we really need to wear dresses?” but then also adds, "I’m glad that I went through with it and wore a dress. I think these girls will be sad they wore pants afterward, but, whatever, they’re 18." Next thing you know, those Spence gals will want to add more fabric to their skirts, instead of rolling them up at the waistbands to be maxi-skirt short.
