Actually, I've been reading THC blog for a while, and he does mention cabbie hangouts. I read this one about an all night Indian buffet near his taxi stand that he found out about from another cabbie. Most of his info comes from passengers though, that's his thing since they know their own neighborhood better than anyone else, even cabbies.

Hey remember that song "Lean Back.. do the Rockaway?" That song was awesome. Hey you should do a column for everyone called "Deli - 101." It will be a beginner's guide to going to and then ordering food the Hungry Cabbie way at a deli.

If this segment is called "The Hungry Cabbie" then how come it doesn't visit places where the VAST MAJORITY of cabbies hang out. I doubt Raj Singh or Muhammad Akbar are eating at 101 Deli. Just a hunch.
