Sharing Time is Not Always Good

2006_05_greenpills.jpgOh, to have our parents pack our lunches again. We'd wonder what snack we'd get (hello, Frito-Lay variety pack) and work the lunch time crowd for potential trades. But a 5 year old boy lunch time generosity gave him and his PS 143 kindergarten classmates a chance to visit the hospital. It seems that he took a bag of green pills left next to his lunch, and when his teacher saw him giving the pills to his friends at lunch, the EMTs were called. Luckily, the pills were only herbal supplements and all the kids were deemed fine. The school won't press charges against the boy and his family, because it seemed like the kind of mistake they can accept, unlike the kid who brought pot in for show and tell.
