I'm betting the judge will not except the "insanity plea" here's why: it's been said that braunstein bought firemen gear on ebay weeks before the attack (he knew what he was doing). he also bought survival gear and weapons to remember the tabloids? fight it to the death to avoid capture. He's a smart guy and can make it seem as if he's a loony toon, he's not... he knowingly did this crime and others and must pay. i think a good "pound-me-in-the-ass-prison" should work good for this schizo. also, is if he is schizo, how does he know he didn't do it?

Let me see if I understand this correctly: * * Braunstein's pre-planning including buying fire dep't gear and "official" badges on Ebay; * * Braunstein's planning included research into the woman's personal life - - the better to torment her for THIRTEEN (!!!) hours; * * Braunstein's planning made him select Oct. 31st as the ideal day to appear costumed as a fireman; * * Braunstein's carefully contrived plans included stowing in a locker various "trophies" [like designer shoes from his victim] from Oct. 31; * * Peter Braunstein kept newspaper clippings about the crime in his backpack, along with other items that would TIE HIM to his CRIME and help law enforcement to convict him - - - Yes, yes, it's obvious - - that is why he is "mentally incapable" of 13 hours worth of criminal behavior and he must be delusional. It is sad that they would insult schizophrenic people like this by putting him in the same category. Braunstein is a spoiled ROTTEN evil man to the core man who violated an innocent woman. Wierdo. He was in complete control of him self mentally and physically. His case behavior is not consistant with a schizophrenic. What a loser. I hope he get prisoned with the very worst in society. He's a loser and a freak.

Regardless of his "mental state" he still did it. Thats why i hate the insanity or juvenile defence. It's basically saying, i didn't understand what i was doing, so don't punish me. We should be punishing the crime, no matter if they did itunderstood it or not.
