Jesus 2.0 Bombs Nolita

Last week Eyebeam's Graffiti Research Lab put on a great event featuring the Mark Jenkins. He talked about his amazing packing-tape sculptures which have to be seen to be believed-- he builds them by literally wrapping packing tape around models, and then cutting the tape away to make a cast. While he was in town, the GRL guys wired a couple of his sculptures with LEDs, and placed the final product on the streets of Nolita-- we saw them a couple of days back on Lafayette at the corners of Prince and Delancey.
