- What the hell got into Frank Bruni this week with his mock e-mail exchange review of Sacha? Too many "special cocktails," perhaps?

2006_05__food_topchef.jpg- Congrats to Harold Dieterle for winning this season's Top Chef and for making NYC proud. We look forward to seeing your restaurant later this year (and we're pretty psyched for next season). Missed the whole thing? Check out the recaps on Slashfood.

I think Bruni's review of Sascha was right on; that place really is just average. Wonder if they'll survive. The bakery didn't even have bread for sale last time I went. Big space, LOTS of tables to keep full.

That was pretty obnoxious of you to ruin the Top Chef finale for me.

It aired last night . . .

My friend Lee Anne was n the show... and the finale aired last night... so it wasn't obnoxious at all for gothamist to tell of the winner.

edEx: Are Harold and Lee Anne dating? It seems likely.

I was wondering that myself last night . . . they seemed quite cozy at one point.

Some of us have lives and were waiting to watch Top Chef on the DVR.

At the very least there could have been a spoiler warning.
