I actually have this signed poster framed and hanging on my living room wall. A birthday present to my fiance a few years back. The best part is the crazy ass picture of him signing the poster attached to the back. His hair is just the freakiest thing - sticking out all over the place. He looks like he just rolled out of bed. Actually he looks like that infamous Nick Nolte mug shot.

hmm, 1987, eh? i guess it's just ingrained in my memory that he had one at all times. and yeah, the fact that he never won a championship sticks out, but can you really blame him for that?

Donnie "Baseball" didn't actually have the mooustache till 1987 when the Yankees started sucking for a prolonged period of time. Perhaps he should shave it off again and maybe we'll win a World Series despite his cursed ass sitting on our bench. Please don't take this as an insult, I love the Yankees and Don Mattingly but he never won the big one as a Yankee and that really is the only measurment for Yankee greats.
