Apple isn't the only one with a large opening this week. Freshness alerted us that New Era is opening their flagship store today at 9 E. 4th St. According to Freshness, "the store will have the largest collection of New Era headwares, as well as hard to find items under a single roof." From the looks of New Era's little flash presentation, the store will have lots of ugly hats in addition to regular baseball caps.
Last month New Era had inflatable caps for the Yankees and the Mets to promote opening day.

Hey you have the large round sticky label with the hat size on it in the middle. That reminds me, what's up with guys buying and wearing their hats WITH THE LABEL STILL ON? That's a look? Looks pretty stupid to me. But what do I know.
Also, what's with people leaving that little tag tacked to their overcoat sleave with four stitches? You're meant to take that off, people!
And my favorite of all, people who don't unstitch the back kickpleat of their new coat, jacket, skirt, whatever... hot look!
actually...
the selection is vast and very fashionable with loads of exclusive and some classic designs... the store itself is lovely and I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly... but then, I WENT to the store and checked it out so I know what I'm talking about
