Car Hits City Bus in Queens

A drunk driver crashed into a bus at Ditmars and 47th Street in Astoria early this morning. WABC 7 reports that the "force of the crash pushed the Jeep onto the front lawn of a house and into a small tree." Jeez. Fourteen people were injured, including the driver of the Jeep (she was charged with DWI), but most of the injuries seemed minor. One Astoria resident tells us that it seems like one in every five cars is revving their engines, driving through red lights...not that the Q19 bus drivers aren't that much better.
