As much as I didn't care for her, I think her ending was horrible, and the emotion that was shown by the det., was ummm well (interesting) some how I wonder if they were happy she was gone to. Well better luck on the next one.

Ok. First off, they just used the "I can't talk now, I have home invaders inside" bit a few weeks ago, on Criminal Intent. Then, Borgia answers the door, without even looking out the peephole? Then McCoy is allowed to stay on the case, until the end...I'd think any defense attorney, would scream conflict of interest! After all, one of the murder victems was the prosectutor's own assistant. C'mon writers-who has the brain cell!

But, at least we're rid of Borgia, and Annie Parisse. This actress had some good lines... and read them. When she did actually act, she made Borgia out to be one big wimp. I'd think anyone smart and aggressive enough to be McCoy's assistant, would walk into a room, and immediately let you know, that she is one kick ass, take no prisoners, screw you, I work for the meanest SOB amoung Manhattan attorneys, Jack McCoy, so fess up, or your butt is mine, jerk off! Instead, we get this hesitant, wussy little thing, who even in the opening credits, minces down the hall, practically wringing her hands. Ugh. I kept hoping they'd do a dream episode, where Jamie Ross, Abbie Carmichael and Serena Southerlyn all appear, and teach Borgia how to kick some serious ass at Rikers.
Maybe they'll let that woman who plays Jessica Rossi on Conviction come to the Mothership. She acts as if she can dish out better than any crook hands her...and, as if she can stand up to McCoy and Branch.

Bring back Jill Hennessey! She was the best. They could make like she was only gravely hurt by the drink driver but survived. I also liked Carey Lowell. She'd be an awesome comeback.

They're actresses playing a role--they shouldn't look happy given the storylines.

Angie Harmon was so incompetent that it was embarassing to watch her. She was a rank amateur in all senses of the word rank, including bad smell.

DAMN YOU SPOILY MCSPOILERSON!

no seriously, since we use ted+azareus to auto-bittorrent all our favourite shows, we're a couple days behind on every show and the internet becomes a big hazardous minefield of spoilitude.

The season finale was quite a good episode and the Jane's New York behinds the scenes special that aired earlier didn't spoil it, nor did the promos for the episode.

Conviction was put in a timeslot of death, but was just another lawyer show. If it was something like "Law & Order: Brooklyn" (just a suggestion of a new show) it would have had a better shot.

Now I have a feeling they may cast someone off of Conviciton to fill the slot.

Aaack! I had it tivoed (DVR'd) and hadn't watched it yet you spoilers!

Interesting thought in the days of Tivo--how long after an exciting program do you NOT have to put "SPOILERS!" on a post such as that?

why does Dateline do a To Catch a Predator "special" every week now? waaay to sensationalist. there are sickos out there--WE GET IT. enough already.

i watch an unhealthy amount of L&O each week, and this was the first episode in ages that really got to me. (the whole duct tape and bag over the head thing was a little too much Ripped from the Headlines for me--remember the threads here a few months back?) i thought sam waterson was excellent, and although i never liked this particular ADA, it was a very jolting episode.

who should be the new ADA? any bets on who?

I'm glad conviction and the bebe neuwirth one got cancelled.
Neuwirth is younger than me but looks 50.
What is it about these female ADA roles that gives them such a "hardened" look?
Ladies, wrinkles, laugh lines, crows feet does not look good on 25 year olds, could be your profession that's causing this. You'll look younger if you're happy.
Tough chance in NYC but it's the truth.
when you're bitter, you'll look bitter so change your profession unless you want to look like uber
ADA of sex crimes, feinstein.
And, regarding the spoilers, don't want to read them?
Get off the internet.

Remember that the present ADA in SVU was beaten to a pulp by some Bosnian Muslim chauvinist offended that his sister was forced to admit to a rape. If the real ADAs in New York were assaulted and killed at the rate that it happens in L&O we would have government hearings on the matter.

For the record I really enjoyed the L&O show with Bebe Neuwirth. I was bummed out when they cancelled it.

With "Convinction" being cancelled, I wouldn't be surprised if the Stephanie March character "Alex Cabot" turned up the regular Law & Order series as McCoy's assistant, equal and possibly future replacement.

I think Sam Watterson has been there much too long.
