<description>&lt;p&gt;One random Tuesday night in 1999 Johnny Damon, Jermaine Dye and several other then-Kansas City Royals walked into this UES bar I happened to be sitting in. They proceded to drink like David Wells,  and the Royals lost the next day something like 10-2. Clearly, the NYC bars have been at this for years. 

Also, clearly, those Royals were cheap bastards. &lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;Nick Swisher still only makes a rookie salary, around 300 grand.  That may be some good bank, but if he doesn&apos;t slow down, he&apos;ll crash and burn before his first big contract.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
