Dear cdjames, How exactly does this offend you? Are you one of Gothamist's writers or a friend of a writer? Gothamist is clearly part of a business, not a personal blog. This site would be a great resource for New Yorkers if it were better written, and I think it's fine for people to point that out in hopes of seeing some well-edited posts in the future. We'd all benefit if Gothamist hired a qualified a copy editor. Would you really have a problem with that, or do you think the writing here is fine? ida

I'm generally not too much of a writing- Nazi, but the prose here is dreadful. Note to the editor(s)- if you need to read it twice to understand it, try again.
