In it's favor, it makes for an appropriate "memorial"--I think of the WTC site as a kind of grave for all of those people. But to me, it also says we're assuming that everyone who was killed on that day is Christian. Or that God somehow made the cross out of the rubble, as a sign. Since the murders that took place on Sept 11, 2001 were done by religious fundamentalists, and the whole problem we're seeing in the world is a horrible misunderstanding and intolerance of religions, shouldn't we be offended by heavily one-sided religious displays? It's just more fundamentalism. I'd much rather see a bold display of tolerance at the memorial.</p>
