It's so weird looking at how the street clothing market works. Look at Phat Farm. It's just a black man Co-Opting White culture. It's basically Russell Simmons just stealing all the ideas from Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren and making them baggy. Then we have Marc Ecko, a white man who is stealing the ideas from Phat Farm and incorporating skate and bike trends to it. Then we have Nigo of BAPE who is a Japanese guy who is copying a white guy who is copying a black guy who is copying a white guy. BAPE is basically a japanese interpretation of Wigger Clothes. and the weird thing is Rich Guidos buy all that shit.

NYPD definitely is the place to go for surf gear, but it's good to know that skaters go there too. They're super-cool there - no attitude or posing - they just seem to want to help you get the best gear they can offer. It's just too bad they're all the way up in Yorkville, but I'm going there this weekend to get a rashguard.

It's been a minute since I've stopped skating. NYPD is my local skate shop. Did ABC (on Ave A & 9th?) shut down or just relocate?
The only park I've ever skated was by Stuy/BMCC on the Hudson (around Washington Street).

As for Union Sq.- I had an incident where my board shot out into the 15 lane intersection. Needless to say, it snapped and my skating didn't last long for the night.

Yeah, Supreme sucks! I know it sucks because I am the coolest guy in Manhattan and they don't even acknowledge my limited edition Will Smith "I Robot" leather Chuck Taylors. They are such douches. Them and Bape. Bape is for retards. Even the owner of Bape says he sells to dumbass white kids who think people ignoring them and looking down on them makes his cheap knockoff air force ones awesome. I mean the plastic on the Bape's are the same as the vinyl on rain coats and the dude charges 200 bucks a pair. FUCK BAPE! BAPE is RAPE!

This seems like a good time to ask what people's favorite skateboard shops are: Etnie's, KCDC, Supreme, Blades, NYPD?

My opinion: Blades is pretty lame and mostly for 6 year olds, Supreme has its head way to far up its ass, NYPD is dope but more surf and too far away, and KCDC is pretty cool.

skaters are the fucking worst!! goddamn they can't even skate. All day it's like they go up, try to flip the board and maybe just maybe one in a million they land it. WTF?
