Ode Upon a Pleasant Spring Weekend

sd_contribute.jpgA summer's day
In the month of May.
The sun will shine
And the temperature climb
To near eighty.

A game this eve
Ya gotta believe
The Mets will play
At the stadium of Shea
Under clear skies.

Saunter tomorrow
No need for sorrow
Sunny skies prevail
As you follow the trail
High around seventy.

Sunday on bike
After the long hike
No rain, no clouds
For the pedaling crowds
A weather delight.

Wasting prose on the sky
A reader did cry
The hint was taken
Gothamist was shaken
Into a doggerel burst.
