Motorcycle Accident on Bridge

Last night, a 38 year old man rear-ended a Town Car on the Williamsburg Bridge. The Post describes that his body crashed into the livery cab's rear window, and then he was "ricocheted" over the side and into the East River. Leonard Beckett of Queens was found dead floating in the river by police later. And the Daily News says he had been riding into Manhattan with his motorcycle club, the Southside Renegades. Beckett had five children plus was a foster father to six others.

Everyone I know who rides a motorcycle always ends up in some bad accident or dead. What would a man who's responsible for so many young lives be doing riding a motorcycle in NYC: that's like ASKING to be killed or maimed...

That's why they're called "organ donors".

Usually the first vehicle is the culprit in rear-end crashes, since they usually stop without warning.

the warning is called brake lights, and that's why you shouldn't tailgate.

I find that to be a rather uneducated statement.
You could say that about smoking or dozens of other things too. Multiple vehicle accidents involving motorcycles are almost never the motorcyclists fault, single vehicle accidents involving motorcycles almost always involve alcohol. Ride sober and alert of the vehicles around you.
