A New Low for Keith Hernandez?

2006_05_sjustformen.jpgNo, no, we're not talking about his snipe on women being in a Major League Dugout, we're talking about his Just for Men commercials. While Hernandez has been a spokesperson for a while now, we spotted him in an advertisement with Walt Frazier for the first time the other night. The low point? The baseball great was calling a basketball game!

And it's certainly not a low for Frazier as he at least got to retain his personality. Plus, the cheerbabe says that he looks splendiferous AND he made the box at the end of the of the "Translation" commercial. At least Hernandez gets to use some of his great baseball talents in the "Good Night" ad when the guy who colors his beard gets some action from his date at the end of the night.

These ads have been around a long time, surprised you're just now catching them.

There is a few versions of that ad. They are all heinous. He needs to hook up with Jerry Seinfeld again.

Yeah, those ads are ancient. Raise your hand if you're surprised that KH would rather spend time advertificating with Clyde than getting massaged by a female trainer . . .

Yeah, neither was I.

if they've aired during knicks games at all, that might be why i haven't seen any.

why are women allowed in men's locker rooms but men aren't allowed in women's locker rooms? why do women perpetuate their own stereotypes ?

If female reporters are allowed in Men's sports locker rooms, then male reporters are allowed in the locker rooms of women's tennis, ladies volleyball, the WNBA, and the LPGA.

homeopt & stickit: that would be pointing out obvious hypocracies and we all know that that can't happen. Nobody takes women seriously anyway ... we just smile and nod ... and enjoy that extra twenty-five cents on the dollar we make.

ummm...these ads are seriously OLD. like multiple years old...
