Sorry, jackblack, but I'm not sure what's dumber... the fact that (i) you locked your bike next to a government building in NYC after 9/11, (ii) that you expected it to be there when you got back, or (iii) that you blamed "the mexicans" for taking it. TransAlt is my favorite environmental organization in NYC. They are extremely focused, realistic, professional, passionate and know their stuff. If we had had more non-profits like them, the world would be a better place to live.

I'd do the Five Borough Bike tour, but it is too early in the morning. It starts around 7AM, which is a very uncivilized hour. Ten or eleven would be much better. This year it happens to be on the same day as the Fort Green Association House tour which is going into the Williamsburgh Bank tower.

Damn Yo! my bike got stolen during the Illegal Immigrant march. I fucking locked it up right next to the supreme court building near the end of the march and it was gone an hour later. i had that bike for 13 years and never once a problem until an army of mexicans stole it. I later saw a whole bunch of mexicans going up and down centre street trying to undo the locks on the bikes. I knew it was one of them but they didn't have my bike and it was a gang of em against little ol me. Guess whose side I'm on now on this Immigration debate.
