As a freelance photoghrapher I had a field day this past weekend with the Hasids in Williamsburg, I went to the Big Synagogue on Rodney St. I was given a tour by a spokesman Mr. Joel A. Brown (who told me he is named after the founder of the sect Grand Rabbi Joel)there where approx. 1500 Hasids in the main hall and Rabbi Zalmen was sitting up front on the seat of his late father, I then went down 3 blocks to the baseball field of the city public school on Lee Ave. where a huge tent was erected there were approx. 10,000 of Aron's followers singing and dancing, I asked somebody who said his name is Menachem Tyrnauer what they are singing he said the songs of the Sabbath, it was an amazing sight to see, I have never seen so much Hasids in one spot, It was awesome, there were hundreds of women standing outside in the street looking in the tent separeted by the chain link fence surrounding the field, I mingled with the much larger crowd here I was offered cake that Mr. Tyrnauer told me was given due to a celebration of the birth of the first Great Grandchild of the new Grand Rabbi Aron a babygirl that was named in the tent, "Nechama" is the new name I was told it means in yiddish "Hope"

Good article but you got the names wrong. Zalman is the Brooklyn one and Aaron is the Orange County one.
