fotolog, the Book

2006_04_fotologbook.jpgfotolog, the photograph-journal site that's near and dear to our heart, recently released a book of photographs from its members, fotolog.book: A Global Snapshot for the Digital Age. It's a beautiful look at moments around the world, but as it happens, 50 of the 300 photographers are from New York City - blog ektopia wonders why a fotolog book can't come out every year, which is a very good point. And, naturally, there are also pictures on fotolog of people reading the fotolog book.

One of our favorite fotolog sites is fotolog co-founder Adam Seifer's photograph of every meal he's eaten series - this is why cameras and the Internet were invented. And remember when the photobloggers and camgirls were duking it out over control of fotolog?

big ups to along and johannaneurath for putting out such a cool book!!!

Hey, thanks Gothamist! Yes, yearly Fotolog books would be wonderful, and something to explore.
Cheers,
Andrew
