This is the best news I've heard in a while. Frankie's is probably my favorite restaurant in Brooklyn... hell, maybe in all of NYC. I was there a few weeks ago with my mom and my boyfriend and we saw Paul Giamatti. Not sure if he was drinking Merlot.

While you're there, grab a St. Peter's or two -- first time I had it was at Frankies 457, and the second time (the other night) was at Spuntino. Best beer I've had in a LONG while. And yes, you can take the empty bottle home with you.

Frankie's is in the Southern part of Caroll Gardens, not Cobble Hill. Although it too is full of investment bankers and slumming Manhattan-ites.
