    SIC TRANSIT. . . The item on former governor HUGH CAREY reminds me of ex-governor MARIO CUOMO, which reminds me that an autographed copy of REASON TO BELIEVE by Mario Cuomo [1995] was taken to The Strand, and even The Strand didn't want to buy a signed copy. If I only had something signed by former governor TILDEN. . . or Chuck Schumer. :-D
