What the NYPD needs is Law & Order: SHU
(Special Hipster Unit)based in Billyburg to handles cases instigated by unruly hipsters (NoPants, Idiotarod, and especially Critical Mass)staffed by hardcore, underpaid cops from Jersey who's willing to crack some heads first and talk later. Then a conservative ADA (a young Arthur Branch) who will prosecute and seek the maximum penalties to teach these would be "artists" a lesson.

Let see if these bozos will go No Pants in Rikers.

I'm sure those that participated are all law abiding citizens. Why is law enforcement always focusing on petty little things?

January in New York City is depressing as hell - and this kind of shit is funny and makes me smile.

WTF does "of course, a fat chick and a gay guy" have to do with anything?

Can't you either take it for what it is, over some valid mature criticism, see the humor or just leave it the fuck alone?

When did Gothamist get so CONSERVATIVE... Jeebus, hurry up and vote Republican...

She isn't even wearing boxers. She only has her pants rolled up and it was more than enough to cause 'public harm'. Gay hippsters and fat fag hags should find something better to do than run around in their undies on the subway.

Did you notice that the cop what testified at the hearing is named Officer Panton? His last name was defaced by this stunt!

I would suggest that if people are upset by how their tax dollars are spent, then they direct their elected officials to have the police focus on catching criminals. It was a harmless stunt that ran afoul of some guy tired of walking a beat and desperate to make sergeant.

Don't believe me? Go to the photos and check out the looks on the other cops' faces... all they're thinking about it is, "I got two hours of paperwork for this? Who's the asshole who called this in?"

God I'm sick of hipsters and their stunts. (Note the guy capturing all the drama with his videocam. Jerk.). It's my tax dollars getting burned up when they attract the cops. Why can't they just go to a bar and stroke each other's egos. "You're so cool." "No, you're so cool." "No, you're even cooler."

i think i would be publicly alarmed if i saw that pink and blond hog wearing boxers on the train, even if she was wearing other stuff under them. couldnt she have been sentenced to six month's hard treadmill time or something?
