Bobby, regarding your, probably rhetorical, question. Ask "all" of the pharmaceutical companies, top money makers for "drugs." Legalized pot would create competition with prescription drug companies. The individual already knows the recipe for pot. Could you imagine being able to go into Duane Reade to buy a starter kit for pot and "Cha Cha Cha Chia plants?" As you know cocaine was legal at one time. However, remember, it was not the people that were selling it, but it was "Coke," Coca Cola. When the public realized its affect and started buying it instead of a limited quantity in a bottle of Coca Cola. The Coca Cola company had to stop using the substance as an ingredient. They had to create a new addictive ingredient and join in the campaign to label it (cocaine) a horrible substance for human consumption. Now, some people buy cola for the caffeine or the sugar, which can be as addictive with long term negative affects on the body. Now, pot and cocaine are on the side of prohibition and prescription drugs are all over the streets being sold illegally and legally if you have a doctor permission to use them.

seriously people, improve the damn filtration system...and spread the power usage. I mean it's easy to give advice just watching from the sidelines...but still....or at least they could have done something like in "Saving Grace"...I hope I experience that sometime...everybody would be so loving and hungry

Stories like these are more depressing than a cat being stuck in a wall.

"police found 600 plants inside and $200,000 in pot stuffed into garbage bags"

And we all know the fate of all that beautiful foliage... Sniff* =(

Aside from the pot growers being overly ambitious, the amount of power the lights draw is insane, and is also used as a tool to tip off the police to where these pot operations are located.

They should’ve spread out their pot growing to several separate locations and use something to kill the smell. Then maybe we can prevent this tragedy from happening again.
