Speaking from experience, our diplomats get into this kind of trouble overseas all the time. And in many under-developed nations, outside of murder, these instances are almost always swept under the rug or paid off and in many cases don't even make the papers. Diplos here in the US are actually quite well behaved.

Does anyone know if we can at least kick diplomats out of the country of we catch then doing things like mowing our cops? If we can't prosecute them, can we at least get rid of them for absusing the system?

Trader Joe's is very underwhelming, except for the prices. I recommend Whole Foods ten times over. The best time to go Trader Joe's though, is right before it closes (around 9.30pm).

Trader Joe's is CRAP! It's half the quality of Whole Foods but only 25% cheaper. Not worth it. Plus they don't refrigerate the fruit so it's always dry.

Speaking of grocery store lines, every time I am in the Columbus Circle Whole Foods the lines are nuts. I usually go there for a quick bite from the hot and cold buffets they have or get some veggie sushi. And yes, Trader Joes needs to open another store or four in the city.

I've peeked in during the afternoon hours (2 p.m.), and it's not so crazy. There was also not a line on Sunday evening about half an hour before closing. Seriously, standing in line at a grocery store is CRAZY. Hopefully they'll open another location or two in the city and things will quiet down.

The girl at the wine store said weekday mornings is the best time, they open at 9am. I went today for the first time. The line went quickly, and the food was cheap. I'm glad I went. Matt

My boyfriend and I went this morning in the pouring rain and it was dead. But I can see how not everyone is willing to put themselves through such silly conditions, so I recommend 9-10:30am on weekdays.

Anyone know when the best time to go Trader Joes is? As much as I love Trader Joes, I refuse to wait in these insane lines to get into the store and to check out.
