- The Tram is running again. Without passengers, of course.

- The Archdiocese has spared 6 schools, but 9 will still close.

- And we quote: "Here's one garbage man who's got junk in his trunk."

- In March Hillary Clinton "doled out $213,000 to fellow Senate candidates and Democratic parties in key states."

- Meanwhile, City Council Speaker Christine Quinn wants a raise.

- In other news, the Battery Park City Authority is spending $2.44 million to speed-dredge the North Cove Marina so 7 racing yachts can park. We don't know where to start.

- Goodbye David Lee Roth, hello Opie and Anthony?

- Gothamist doesn't really get why people seem so surprised that just because Bloomberg wants gun control he isn't against the Second Amendment.

- Anybody got any photos from the Robot Parade? (We keep checking to no avail)

  • Opie and Anthony are still morons.

  • Re. Robot Parade:

As Cory Einbinder (the parade's organizer, in full robot drag) told me today, "It's hard to get people to dress up in the rain."

    Sigh.

But we can still satisfy our robot jones by seeing his show, "R.U.R. (Rossum's Universal Robots".

Opie and Anthony made a wise choice. Not only do they get exposure on both XM and regular radio, but on CBS they take over Stern's old timeslot. Most of Stern’s fans didn’t go over with him to Sirius, so now they’ll tune into O&A.

David Lee Roth was terrible anyway...
