Went to my first TOC, hoping the crowds would be deterred by the weather. Nope, fat chance. I was on the lookout for that Peking Duck. I'll be on that line again in October. I brought back the carcass for soup stock. Next time, I'm going to get stuff from other stalls first and eating it on the wait line for the Peking Duck.

Looks so tasty! I always find everything so cheap in C-town that having a "special" day to eat there seems silly. Fighting crowds for dumplings? No, thank you.

it was an amazing saturday afternoon and i ate so much. best thing were the peking duck pancakes! ooooh!

so true, it was better then a trip to the dollar store... was anyone else surprised at how big the portions were despite the low price? kudos to a great time.

i went there early and was amazed at the high percentage of chinese people there -- assumed it would be more touristy but was humored by the idea that the people who actually live in chinatown were getting the most out of it.
