I'm glad the Times-Picayune was recognized. They did an amazing job during and in the aftermath of Katrina. They put us right there with the people of New Orleans and I feel like I understood what was really happening so much better for it. It's what reporting should be - not this sensational crap you see in papers like the NY Post every day where contests are just as important as human tragedy and take up half the front page.

I agree with teetime. I saw Miss Witherspoon and Red Light Winter and although I didn't hate them, they just didn't scream "Pulitzer Prize Winning Play". And the description of the third one is just plain dumb.

Does anyone understand why no award for drama was given out? That seems unusual.
