<description>&lt;p&gt;I wasn&apos;t even being snarky. I thought we really did celebrate Patriot&apos;s Day in  New York for a minute there. I figured maybe it was a regional thing.  

That does clear up my tax confusion though. I didn&apos;t even put it together as I was addressing my return over the weekend. Thanks SJ.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;Tax Day (April 15) fell on Saturday, not Sunday.

And it isn&apos;t because New York celebrates Patriot&apos;s Day.  It is because Massachusetts does and residents of the states listed are supposed to file their federal returns with the IRS facility in Andover, MA.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
