I wasn't even being snarky. I thought we really did celebrate Patriot's Day in New York for a minute there. I figured maybe it was a regional thing. That does clear up my tax confusion though. I didn't even put it together as I was addressing my return over the weekend. Thanks SJ.

Tax Day (April 15) fell on Saturday, not Sunday. And it isn't because New York celebrates Patriot's Day. It is because Massachusetts does and residents of the states listed are supposed to file their federal returns with the IRS facility in Andover, MA.
