Does Larry Want Out?

2006_04_sknickslogo.jpgIt’s too bad Larry Brown was too sick to make the trip to Detroit. Then again, maybe the trip to Detroit was the reason he is sick. If he had made the trip, Brown would have witnessed his current team beaten by his former team 103-97. With the win, the Pistons set a franchise record for most wins in a season.

Brown missed another game where his team was simply outclassed. Detroit came out and scored the first 15 points of the game and built a 22-point lead by the end of the first quarter. New York made a run at the end of the game to make it appear close, but they were never really in it.

The coach won’t be in attendance tonight when New York plays its last home game of the season. He will supposedly return for the final game of the year in New Jersey and then be back next season, but at this point, you cannot help but wonder if Larry is planning another of his famous exits.
