I feel famous, my comment made it to the front page. How very sexy!
I can now go outside and enjoy the day..
not sure about that grey-haired lady though! (2nd from the right)
wtf are these middle age crisis midwest tourist women doing on my campus!? get them back to the buffet line at their times square hotel.
Ahh, come on. It's cute. I mean, annoying as all crap when they inevitably crowd the street in confusion clinging to maps and looking skyward when you're in a rush to get around them, but cute all the same. I like living in a city that people like coming to, and wearing the unbearably cheesy shirts while here. Bless their soccer mom hearts.
Especially the redhead lady in the front. She looks like she just might go hug a subway hobo any minute now.
I agree. I like seeing how much tourists really do love our city when they visit. As long as they aren't causing pedestrian traffic jams :)
i asked them when i took their pic - they were wailing in (mock?) embarassment, and said their friend made them wear the shirts!
this photo was taken at columbia university on college walk.
anyone see transamerica? i do believe the cruise turned into a trip to new york.
I agree with #4 & #5, while I can get annoyed at slow-walking tourists, sometimes it's cute to see them getting excited about things that we're all jaded about or find lame. "OH MY GOD, LOOK, IT'S MTV!!"
who are these fat ugly pigs?
where do they come from?
If they really loved NY, they'd live here. A more truthful shirt would be "I [HEART] TWINKIES"
I think they are in "like" or maybe even "lust" with New York, but sisters, I think you are just lying to yourselves to say you are in love with New York.
Sure, you'll go home and dream of us, but will you still love us tomorrow...

There we go. Only a matter of time till that kind of comment came up.
People turn fifty.
You will, too.

I [Heart] Tourists Who [Heart] NYC.
The shirts scream tourist cliché.
Personally, I prefer the "I [heart] NJ" or the "I [heart] Newark" t-shirt, as it is a wonderful parody.

Perhaps they love New York, but aren't in love with New York. :)
Good point, Kevin Walsh. I hate when assholes take those types of cheap shots.
