If New York wasn't the center of the universe already, we'd say the title would go to MySpace. The phenomenon has even inspired a song.
The first band to play at our first ever Movable Hype show was The Fresh - which is pretty much composed of one man, John Fulton. Recently, he wrote and recorded a song in homage to MySpace, and today he has finally released a video for that song. A digital collage in tribute to community sites we all spend way too much time on. Check it out and see if you made the cut...one of the College Humor guys did!
Hey steve I was at that antisocial stalker show in philly and I thought it was pretty cool,I think you have to look at it in a campy point of view like a b-movie.
I was in Philly on Friday night, where I saw a performance by The AntiSocial Stalker, who sang numerous pions to MySpace while a projection of his profile and comments scrolled in the background. Quite possibly the worst thing I've ever seen before.

Wait, people over 16 actually use MySpace? I'm confused...

did anyone see the Dateline show last night about the dangers of MySpace? Kinda funny.
I wonder why he used dozens of clips made by Vimeo users - mostly me and my friends - for a song about MySpace. Those clips have nothing to do with MySpace and everything to do with Vimeo.
