Chase and BONY both suck. I have had account in BONY for 12 years they haven;t upgraded their systems to see account activity online. Nothin is free at Chase, no account type is free at Chase. Their are hidden fees all over the place. Ther eis nothin like free hcacking at Chase trust me. Either u have to have a min. of 2 G's in ur account or direct deposit and if the direct deposit doesn't come in one month u will be charged. Borrom line both suck. WAMU free checking is the way to go, free everything, free checks for life, free wire transfers all over the world, cash back on just using the debit and CC's, free everything online, from bill pay, see account activity, download statements and customer suport available 24/7. Can't get any better than WAMU FREE CHECKING.

Bank of New York only has 36 branches in New York City. The 338 branches the posting claims are in the city are spreadout among New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

We are the Bank, the Bank of New York
The Bank that manages money
Come to the Bank, the Bank of New York
And we'll help you manage your money.

Guess it's heading the way of the Bowery and Manufacturers Hanover. I had an account at MannyHanny when it was taken over by Chemical Bank, which was then taken over by (you guessed it) Chase.

From the looks of that archive search, Chase Home Finance appears fond of the word "probaly."

Chase is the worst bank I have ever used. I can't believe so many people continue to use them.
