A Winning Streak!

2006_04_sknickslogo.jpgMaybe there is a silver lining in this disastrous season for the Knicks. Jamal Crawford is quickly emerging as a player the Knicks will be able to rely on in the future. Crawford hit the game-winning jumper for the second consecutive game giving New York a 98-86 victory over Indiana.

Amazingly, Crawford has become one of Larry Brown’s favorite players. Considering his poor defense and poor shot selection that seemed impossible at the start of the season, but Crawford has really learned to play Brown’s system. His shot selection is much better and his defense, while still lacking, is played with effort and intensity.

Only seven games remain in the Knicks’ season with five of them on the road. The team needs to win one more to avoid tying the franchise record for the lowest win total in a season. Their best chance may be April 17th, when they host the Bobcats in their last home game of the season.
