I used to work as an Apple Specialist in NYC. Foriegners used to come and buy Apple products all the time because they were so expensive in foriegn countries. They would just throw out the box and say they brought it with them to avoid any duty tax. They are going to sell TONS of laptops and iPods to tourists with more money than they know what to do with at this location.
