Yo Yo Yo Yo Howard

The life of a public figure is never easy. Especially when you're a loud mouthed radio show host. Saturday night, Stern and his girlfriend Beth Ostrosky were attacked by a man on the Upper West Side. Gregory Forbes allegedly recognized the couple, yelled "Howard!" and got up in the couple's face. After the two jumped in cab the man chased down the cab and spit into the open window. The saliva projectile hit Ostrosky in the face. After calling police, Stern rode around in a police vehicle until they found Forbes on a nearby street.

Perhaps the deranged fan is one of the people that Stern is upset with. Stern told Entertainment Weekly that people that haven't followed him to Sirius are "cheap bastards" and that he takes it personally. Maybe chasing down that cab and spitting in was just his response.

last year i was walking down fifth avenue, in the middle of a busy day, when an obviously unstable man casually spat in my face. after the shock set in, i screamed. by then, he was already casually walking down the street, flipping me the bird over his shoulder. a really strange incident, one that happened to put me in therapy for a few months.

the point is... anyone know what this guy looked like? i wonder if its the same guy. weird things happen every day, but spitting in strangers faces can't be too common.

Howard Sucks the only reason he was ever popular is because he was seen as someone who challenged authority and now that he has no limits no one cares he has become another has been.

He really does look like an old woman now. I'm ok with that. He's also irrelevant. Isn't he re-recording his "classic bits" (way to be original, Howard), now with profanity? Oh right....Sirius censors Howard. Oops.

What a "pioneer" you are in satellite radio. Re-recording old commercial radio bits and complaining about...EVERYTHING.

It may be that the last "funny" thing Stern did on the radio was to interview the Jamaican Olympic bobsled team -- so we're going back at least five or more years. Anybody remember "Out Of The Closet Stern", and all those other characters he created, back in the late '80's? Sure wasn't PC, but at least it was original. As far as I have been told, now it's all about farts, "are you a lesbian" and who the hell knows what else. He wants people to pay for that crap? Not me. Oh, and good idea to bash the people on whose backs you rode to the multi-billion dollar contract with Sirius in the first place...look how well Jeremy Roenick came across when he told NHL fans that the league "didn't need them". What's with these "stars" of today?
