Quieter, less polluting garbage trucks? Sweet!
Oh, how true about Forest Hills. I'm originally from there and there's a bank on or around every corner just about. It's a nice area, though--relatively safe, mixed crowds get along, stuff to do even if it's Queens. Sort of miss it.
Re: eco-friendly garbage trucks, and the quoted official from the Sanitation Dept.: in my next life, I would hope to be named, "Rocco DiRico." It's like music.

I love it. "SoHo's roots." Heh. Can we at least make sure that these kids have some talent before we let them loose on the soulless yuppies? Nothing worse than some talent-free trustafarians ranting about how they keep it real. SoHo was edgy at one point, but then so was New York...
